What To Expect At A From Soil to Soul Workshop

Each year I find new ways to improve my workshops.

I have attended my fair share of gardening workshops as well, and am always noting what does/doesn’t work.

And what I’ve found makes a fantastic workshop experience is as follows;

  • First, the opportunity to connect with other participants in a way that feels organic.
  • Followed by the ability to apply what you learn during the workshop.
  • Then I try to mix in a fair share of hands-on activities and worksheets you can take home and use in your own garden
  • All that is balanced with a mix of classroom-style learning paired with getting your hands dirty.
  • And you can’t forget good music, snacks and refreshments!

All this to say, you can expect to listen, work and play during a From Soil to Soul workshop.

Participants will always leave all workshops with;

  • Worksheets/notes to apply to their gardens
  • A DIY project
  • Seeds and/or other organic gardening supplies

What Should I Bring To A From Soil to Soul Workshop

Really all you need to bring to one of my workshops is yourself.

Dress in comfortable clothing that you can easily move around in as well as possibly get a little dirty.

We are gardening after all!

As mentioned, snacks and refreshements are included with your ticket purchase so no need to bring your own.

However, Pineridge Hollow does have a fantastic selection of take-away food that you’re welcome to get ahead of tie and bring to the workshop.

The Village Studio is also licensed. So if gardening with a cocktail in hand is up your alley, you’re more than welcome to!

When Should I Arrive To A From Soil to Soul Workshop

Arriving to our workshops 5-10 minutes early to find a seat and get settled is perfect.

Please come 15-20 minutes early if planning on getting food and/or alcoholic beverages.

We invite you to also set aside some time before or after the workshop to browse all the other amazing experiences Pineridge Hollow has to offer.

While you can definitely shop from their local stores, one of my fav things to do at The Hollow is take a walk down their trail system.

It’s stunning! And an easy walk for all skill levels.
